Single Origin Coffee Huila

Well Rounded with an Intense Taste of Dark Chocolate and Sweet Caramel

Columbia is regarded as one of the finest coffee-growing regions in the world. The area of Huila is located on the west coast of the country, close to the Pacific Coast, and is famous for its large variety of flavours. Coffee in Huila is harvested during the months of October and February. 

Our Huila coffee is made up of the Caturra and Typica varieties and is awarded with the Rainforest Alliance Seal, as well as certified as organic. Most farmers in the Huila region own only a small parcel of land, around 1-2 hectares in size. Our coffee thus stems from several of these farmers, who handpick and bring the coffee to a central processing point. After the coffee is pulped, the seeds are washed, fermented and sun dried on raised beds. This enables airflow and prevents the coffee from going stale. Our well-rounded, balanced coffee is characterized by its intense taste of dark chocolate and sweet caramel.
