Together, we will learn about the basics of coffee making:
Where does coffee actually come from?
What are the most popular types of coffee?
What is the difference between coffee and espresso beans?

We then go onto learning about espresso preparation: we tamp, flush and find out the ideal way to extract espresso. As part of this, a barista will demonstrate important settings on the machine in order to obtain that perfect, freshly brewed espresso.

For the last part of the course, we will create a flawlessly creamy, yet airy milk froth and in the process, learn about:

What milk can I use?
What is the optimal temperature to obtain that perfect milk froth?
How high should the steam pressure be set?
How can I make a heart in my milk froth!

Finally, with a perfect latte macchiato, cappuccino or espresso macchiato in our hands, we will look at the maintenance of the machines and take care of cleaning them.
