Where are the Charles Schumanns behind the espresso machines? If you want to serve your guests really good coffee, you not only need high-quality beans, but also the Knowledge for preparation. This craft is not rocket science if you have good teachers. We offer private and business customers extensive barista training courses, which we conduct in our floating roastery on the Elbe. In the middle of tourroastery, we start with the theoretical basics.

Where does coffee actually come from? What are the most famous varieties? What is the difference between filter and espresso roasts? What is behind the small, slow roasting that everyone is talking about? You will leave with answers to all these questions. 

Then it’s time to prepare espresso: we tamp, flush and learn about the ideal extraction. A barista at the grinder and the espresso machine shows us important settings for the perfect, freshly brewed espresso.

Finally, the last part of the seminar: Together we will foam the perfect, creamy, airy milk foam and learn the basics of milk foam production. You’ll discover how much milk to use. The optimal temperature for that delicious, creamy foam. How much steam pressure do I need? How do I draw that big heart in my cup?

With your perfect latte macchiato, cappuccino or espresso macchiato in hand, we then take care of the maintenance and cleaning of the machines.
