Hario V60
V60 Filter Paper
16g Fresh Coffee
250g Water 93°C
Scales
Timer
Brew Time:
2:30 – 3:30 Min
Step 1
Boil a kettle full of water, and firstly, rinse your filter paper with hot water. This will get rid of the paper taste, as well as pre warm your brewing vessel. Weigh out 16 grams of coffee in a medium to coarse grind size and place it in the filter.
Step 2
Now it‘s time to brew! Pour the first 50 ml of water into your v60 in a circular motion, wetting all the coffee grounds. This is an important step, as it allows the CO2 in the cof- fee to escape, ensuring that it does not affect the overall taste of your brew.
Step 3
After 30 seconds, continue to pour 50 ml of water onto the coffee every 30 second interval, in the same circular motion. Keep doing this until you have poured 250 ml of water over the coffee. The time it takes for all the water to pour through the coffee should range between 2:30-3:00 minutes. You can then remove the filter, pour your coffee into a preheated cup, and enjoy!
Tip
Use a spoon to stir the bed of coffee during the blooming phase, to ensure all the coffee grounds are fully saturated with water.
You can influence the taste of your coffee by changing your grind size.

Brew Time:
1:45 – 2:00 Min
Step 1
Place the aeropress plun- ger into the brew chamber, and sit it up side down on a table, so the filter is facing upwards. Rinse your filter paper with hot water, and prepare 16 grams of freshly roasted coffee, medium grind.
Step 2
Pour 50g of water into your aeropress – or up to mark 4 if you don‘t have scales. Stir vigorously to wet all the coffee, and then top up with the remaining water after 30 seconds, or mark 1 if you don‘t have a scale
Step 3
Once all the water is in, screw your filter cap onto the end of the aeropress, and at the 1min 20 mark, carefully turn your aero- press over, placing it into your mug. Push the liquid out over the next 20—25 seconds, until your cup is full of delicious coffee.
Tip
Use a spoon to stir through the coffee bed during the blooming phase to make sure all the coffee is saturated.
Make sure your brewing vessel is sturdy – you‘re putting a lot of pressure onto it, and a fine glass jug can potentially break.

A consistant brewer giving a strong bodied coffee – just two reasons why the french press is so popular. Its simple, easy to use design makes it a staple for most households, and gives great results time and time again.

Brew Time:
4:00 min
Step 1
Boil a kettle full of water, and firstly, rinse your fil- ter paper with hot water. This will get rid of the pa- per taste, as well as pre- warm your brewing vessel. Weigh out 16 grams of coffee in a medi- um to coarse grind size, and place it in the filter.
Step 2
Pour 50g of water onto the ground coffee and stir vi- gorously. This will allow the CO2 to escape from the coffee, ensuring an even more delicious cup of coffee.
Schritt 3
You can now pour the rest of the water into your press, stirring well after. Put the lid back on to keep the heat inside, and at 4 minutes, press the filter down. For the best tasting coffee, pour it into the cups immedia- tely, so it doesnt over-brew.
Tip
Use a spoon to stir through the coffee bed during the blooming phase to make sure all the coffee is saturated.

Since its invention in 1933, the stovetop brewer has been an in- tegral part of the coffee culture. With its deep Italian origins, this will bring back memories of family holidays to the southern lands.
Stovetop Brewer
Fresh Coffee
Hot Water 93°C
Brew Time:
3:00 – 4:00 Min
Step 1
First, preheat the water you are going to be brewing with. By doing this, much of the bitterness can be avoided by not “overboiling“ the coffee. Fill just below the lower chamber valve.
Step 2
Grind your coffee fresh, to a grind size that is coarser than espresso, but finer than hand filters. Make sure the bed of coffee is flat and level, but not compres- sed. Screw your brewer together – you‘re ready!
Step 3
Place your stovetop coo- ker on a medium heat, lid open. After a few moments, the coffee should start running through into the upper chamber. As soon as the coffee starts strea- ming in, remove from the heat – the residual heat is enough to brew your coffee without giving a burnt taste.
Tip
By grinding your coffee just before you brew, you can achieve maximum crema. Be very careful – the Stovetop Brewer gets really hot on the outside. Use only the handle, and a wet towel when taking it apart.

The classic brewing device in every German kitchen. Per- fect for a large amount of coffee, without comproming on tas- te. Ideal for either a big breakfast, or a small to medium office.
Coffee Machine
Filter Paper
60g fresh Coffee
1 l Water
Brew Time:
4:00 – 5:00 Min
Step 1
First, weigh your coffee. We recommend using 60 grams of coffee per 1000g of water. You can adjust this if you want a stronger or weaker brew. You should grind coarser than you would for the hand filter, or the coffee will taste bitter.
Step 2
Grind your coffee fresh to maximise flavour and enjoy- ment, and place into a fres- hly rinsed filter. Fill the water tank to an amount corres- ponding with the given ratio, and you‘re ready to brew!
Step 3
Place the coffee jug under the brew head, and brew your coffee according to the manufacturers instructions. The coffee machine does the rest for you – ideally you want the brew to be finished between 4-5 minutes from when you started brewing.
Tip
You can also use a blooming phase to increase flavour and clarity with the filter machi- ne. Some machines have this built in, older style ones you can quickly turn it off, stir the coffee, and turn back on again. Just be sure to be careful when hot water is involved.
